The Sentinel is one of the Northern Dreams series of original artwork by First Nations artist Gordon Fiddler. This ¾” jade glass piece on a beveled jade base, with etched eagle, moon and mounted rider artwork, is approximately 6½” wide with back edges chipped and frosted. It is accompanied by a romance card containing a short biography and the interpretation of the artwork as follows: “Protector of our lands and skies, the Sentinel is ever watchful. But vigilance is not in itself enough. The Sentinel needs our help to restore and preserve our habitat.” Also available in a freestanding version, approximately 3½” wide.
